Le sujet de la semaine (no. 14, levels 1 & 2) – Jean de Florette

It’s sujet de la semaine time! (If you find this one too easy, then try the harder one for levels 3 & 4).

Le sujet de la semaine is split into two parts.

In part one Alexa will give you three questions and then read out a passage based on the subject. Have a go at finding the answers to the questions. She’ll then repeat the questions and passage one more time to give you another opportunity to find the answers and also to see how much of the passage you can understand and follow. After the second reading Alexa, will go through the answers with you.

In part two (for subscribers only) Alexa will analyse the text in more detail, focusing on various points of grammar and vocabulary that she feels appropriate for the level.
