Adjectives (part 2)
What are the adjectives placed before the noun?
As mentioned in part 1, most adjectives are placed after the noun. However, a few are placed before the noun such as single syllable adjectives (grand, etc.), size, beauty and age words (see list), ordinal numbers (premier, deuxième, etc.).
There is an acronym which can help to remember this:
B.A.G.S. — meaning ‘Beauty’ ‘Age’ ‘Good and bad’ and ‘Size’.
