Imperfect (part 2)
What you need to know about the imparfait with second group and irregular verbs
The imperfect endings remain the same as the first group but the stem often changes.
Let’s use a second group ‘ir’ verb
Finir (to finish)
Je finissais - I was finishing/I used to finish
Tu finissais - You was finishing/you used to finish
Il finissait - He was finishing/he used to finish
