The governement has therefore announced a heatwawe plan of orange vigilance in order to avoid the hecatomb caused by the 2003 heatwave during which more than 15000, mostly old, succumbed to the heat. Every health professional in the towns have therefore been mobilised and the retirement homes have been put under high surveillance.”
