The objective of this dictation is to develop listening and comprehension skills, and to build vocabulary and fluency.
1. Don’t forget to download the Support Sheet (Lesson Document), but try not to peek at the transcript until after you have attempted the exercise. If in doubt, use a separate sheet of paper for the dictation.
2. Alexa will read the passage three times: once, at normal speed, then slowly for the dictation, then one more time at normal speed.
3. There is also a Sujet de la Semaine audio lesson and Gap Fill exercise for the lesson based on the same passage.
Note: The Support Sheet is also attached to the MP3 audio file in the ‘Lyrics’ section. This is a handy feature that means you can read the support sheets “on the go” with devices that support lyrics, such as the iPhone, iPad, etc.
