Passé composé with avoir

What is the passé composé?

Well, it is a past tense. It expresses an action completed in the past.

The passé composé could be identified as the simple past in English (e.g. I walked) or the present perfect (I have walked) or the past empathic (I did walk).

It is formed using an auxiliary verb in the present tense and a past participle (it is known as a compound conjugation: it comes in several parts).
