Verbes du 1er groupe — présent

1. Remove the -er from the infinitive of the verb.
2. Add the appropriate present tense verb ending for group 1 verbs.

Verbes du 1er groupe — passé composé

Use the auxiliary avoir (to have) or être (to be) depending on the verb used in the present tense.
Add the verb’s past participle.

Verbes du 1er groupe — imparfait

Find the nous form of the verb in the present tense.
Remove the -ons.
Add the appropriate imperfect tense verb ending for group 1 verbs.

Tom and Charlotte used to go for a walk every day.

Paul will give me a piano lesson tomorrow.

- Charlotte appellerait sa mère si elle avait le temps.
Charlotte would call her mother if she had time.
