Intensive Speaking Practice Level 1
Want to start speaking French with confidence in just one week?
This intensive course is designed especially for complete beginners and early A1 learners who want to get talking from day one, in a friendly and supportive environment.
Join us for a week of daily, live speaking practice, focusing on confidence rather than perfection. The course follows topics from the A1 modules of Alexa’s Complete French Course and helps you practise simple, useful French you can use in everyday situations.
We’ll practise:
- Introducing yourself and talking about everyday topics
- Using the present tense with key verbs like être, avoir and aller
- Asking and answering simple questions
- Building core vocabulary and improving pronunciation
- Speaking in short, structured sentences with confidence
You’ll take part in guided role plays, simple conversations, and group activities, all designed to help you feel comfortable speaking French—even if it’s your very first time.
By the end of the week, you’ll be able to:
- Introduce yourself and talk about your daily life
- Ask basic questions and respond with confidence
- Understand and use key grammar like être and avoir
- Feel more relaxed and confident speaking French out loud
- Build connections in French, not just memorise words

- Dates: 13th to 17th April
- Time: Every day from 12:00 to 14:15 UK Time, including a 15-minute break
- Small Group Format: Maximum of 7 students for focused interaction
