Speaking Practice Level 8

Join us for ten weeks of live speaking practice classes designed for advanced (C1) learners. It’s a relaxed and supportive way to improve your French, get talking and build confidence from week to week.

This level is ideal if you’re already comfortable expressing yourself in French and want to go deeper. We follow themes from the C1 module of Alexa’s Complete French Course, with plenty of real conversation and practical speaking tasks.

We’ll practise:

• Talking about more complex and abstract topics—wellbeing, society, culture, global issues, equality and more
• Sharing your opinions clearly and adding more nuance and detail
• Improving your accuracy, fluency and natural flow when speaking
• Expanding your vocabulary and polishing pronunciation

By the end of the course, you’ll be able to:

• Talk about a wide range of modern-day topics in depth and with more nuance
• Feel more confident sharing your opinions and supporting them in French
• Use more precise grammar and a richer vocabulary when speaking
• Communicate more naturally and build real connections in French, not just rely on memorised phrases
