How does it work?
Click this link to access the chatbot through either Facebook Messenger or Telegram. Sign up to the free 7-day trial, and Frenchbot will appear as another contact. Frequently asked questions
Do I need Facebook or Telegram to speak with Frenchbot?
Yes, you will need to download Facebook Messenger or Telegram, or use the desktop version, to speak with Frenchbot.
Can I use both Facebook and Telegram for Frenchbot?
Your subscription entitles you to use both apps for Frenchbot, but we advise you to conduct your conversations in the app with which you feel most comfortable, as otherwise it can become confusing to switch between the two.
Can I speak to Frenchbot in both French and English?
Frenchbot will understand both written and spoken French. She will usually understand written English, but will not always understand spoken English.
I can’t find my welcome email, how do I log in?
Once you have purchased a subscription, you should receive QR codes and links to access Frenchbot. If you’re having trouble locating your welcome email, or you didn’t receive one, shoot us a message at support@learnfrenchwithalexa.com.
Are recordings of my voice kept by the app?
Neither Novo.AI or Learn French With Alexa keep any recordings of your voice used to communicate with Frenchbot.
Frenchbot is down - what’s the problem?
If Frenchbot isn’t working, we suggest waiting a few minutes and trying again. It’s also possible that the app you are using is experiencing an outage. You can check the status on Is It Down Right Now? Website Down or Not? If the issue persists and is unrelated to the messenger app, please contact us at support@learnfrenchwithalexa.com.
Will Frenchbot still message me if I haven’t spoken to her for a while?
Frenchbot will continue to message you with conversation starters unless you decide to block her, but she won’t be offended if you don’t reply!
How do I cancel Frenchbot?
1. Find your welcome email (be sure to check your spam and junk folders). The email is titled 'Getting Started with Frenchbot by Learn French With Alexa' click to open.
2. Scroll to the bottom and you should see 'Not feeling it? Cancel your subscription via Stripe using the e-mail'. Click on the Stripe link that is highlighted in blue.
3. It will take you to the Novo AI page. You just need to type in your email address and click send.
4. Go to your email inbox and find the email from Novo AI and log in to your customer portal via the link.
5. You should then be able to cancel your Frenchbot subscription which will be effective immediately.
Where do I find Frenchbot?
1. When on the Learn French With Alexa homepage, go to the search bar and click on it. Make sure that the cursor is at the end of the address and not highlighted.
2. Type in /frenchbot and select enter on your keyboard.
3. It should then load the page and you can take a look at what Frenchbot has to offer!
How do I use the sale coupon for Frenchbot?
1. On the Frenchbot homepage scroll down until you see 'Say hello to Frenchbot' and click on the writing in blue.
2. Click on 'Start Your 7 Day Free Trial'.
3. This will take you to the payment page. Click 'Add promotion code' and type in the sale code and click 'Apply'. You then just need to fill in your bank card details and that's it! You should receive a welcome email (be sure to check your junk and spam).
How do I set up Frenchbot with Facebook Messenger/Telegram?
1. Make sure that Facebook Messenger/Telegram is downloaded to your phone or desktop. You can download the app by going to either the Play store (for Android) or App store (for Apple) and searching 'Facebook Messenger' / 'Telegram'.
2. For desktop, go to the search bar and search 'Facebook Messenger'. If you have Facebook already, you should be able to log in with your Facebook information.
3. As you have just purchased Frenchbot, you need to go to your welcome email (be sure to check your junk and spam folders) it should be called 'Getting Started with Frenchbot by Learn French With Alexa'.
4. Open the email and scroll down until you see 'Open in Facebook Messenger/Telegram' and click on it.
5. It should then automatically open Facebook Messenger/Telegram and Frenchbot will start talking to you! You can engage in conversation with her straight away!
